British rock icons Oasis have officially announced their new 2027 world tour, building on the success of their recent comeback. The legendary band will perform 38 shows across Britain, Europe, and the United States. This follows the complete sell-out of their surprise reunion tour last year.
Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, once famously feuding, are now set to delight fans once again. Their schedule includes 11 dates in their hometown of Manchester, a significant number for local supporters. Moreover, fans can anticipate stops in major cities like Glasgow, Amsterdam, and Boston.
The extensive European leg of the Oasis 2027 world tour features multiple dates in key locations. Munich will host two concerts on July 2nd and 3rd. Similarly, Barcelona gets two shows on July 10th and 11th. Paris’s Stade de France will see the band on July 23rd and 24th, with Rome hosting on July 29th and 30th.
This global journey begins in Glasgow in May 2027. It will conclude with four grand performances in Knebworth in September. These final shows will mark 30 years since Oasis’s iconic gigs at the venue north of London.
The band, known for Britpop anthems such as “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” has been hinting at this second reunion tour for several weeks. They shared the news on social media on Monday with the simple caption, “start the celebrations!” Their statement also playfully called themselves “The Most Damaging Pop Cultural Force In Recent British History.”
Ticket registration is currently open for fans eager to attend. Interested parties must sign up by 4 pm BST on September 17th to gain a chance to purchase tickets. Even members of the mailing list are required to register.
Successful registrants will receive a unique code for ticket access. This system aims to streamline the purchase process and reduce lengthy queues. Furthermore, it intends to combat ticket touting and ensure fair access.
The Gallagher brothers had previously ended their well-known 15-year rift, announcing their initial worldwide reunion tour in August 2024. That tour generated immense excitement, leading to a scramble for tickets. More than two million people attended 41 shows across Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America, generating approximately £300 million.
However, that initial reunion faced some criticism regarding sudden price hikes and exorbitant resale values. This issue even prompted an investigation by the UK’s competition watchdog. Therefore, the new registration system for the Oasis 2027 world tour suggests efforts to address these past concerns.
